Byron Youth Theatre’s award-winning mental-health production, filmed live at Byron Bay Community Theatre.

This package includes teaching resources and cast interviews.

TRIGGER WARNING
These performance videos contains scenes depicting young people experiencing and dealing with mental health issues such as:
ANXIETY
DEPRESSION
NON SUICIDAL SELF HARM
EATING DISORDERS
BEING TRANSGENDER
ECOLOGICAL DESPAIR

It is advised that students who are experiencing any of these issues be warned in advance of screening.
Specific warnings will appear before each scene so that students can opt out of viewing if necessary.

All mental health references have been researched in consultation with mental health organisations and professionals and are informed by Mindframe’s guidlines for portraying mental ill-health on stage and screen.

We are a Child-Safe organisation and comply with all aspects of Child Protection and screening.

Me, Myself and Mind is a 35 minute performance comprising 10 individual scenes.

Each of the ten scenes is accompanied by a pdf with a lesson plan and teaching resources.
